As organizations adopt more remote/hybrid working models and the demand for the latest IT skills grows, one thing is clear: IT certifications give individuals a chance to stand out.
But it’s clear that certifications benefit employers, too — across all areas of the organization. For our first-ever Value of IT Certification Employer Report, we surveyed senior IT leaders, hiring managers, and learning and development professionals to find out how certification positively impacts their businesses.
Right now, we may not even know about some of the technologies that could be relevant and we could use. The person with a certification would educate us or advise us that other things are possible and are available.

And some of our learnings are striking:
- 77% of managers feel IT credentials help employees stay current with technology trends
- 66% of those surveyed said employees with IT certifications produce higher quality work
- 63% of believe IT-credentialed staff are better connected with industry pros and resources
Thanks to results like these, organizations have begun actively investing in IT training and certification initiatives, enabling them to respond to challenges more quickly, with impacts that benefit both their employees and the bottom line.
